Course Description: This course offers basic guidelines for protecting yourself and your family through established security practices. You will learn how to make your home a more difficult target through general appearance, effective lighting and security systems as well as general home security practices. Security concerns for office environments are also covered. Awareness guidelines for use on the street and at public events are presented highlighting the danger signs for which you must remain alert. Local and international travel safety is also covered with strategies regarding airports, hotels, selected ground transportation and reactions to emergencies.
